Legend has it that a hunter left a tin cup next to the stream which was found many years later by a fisherman. This became its official designation. <image:title>Reflections of Eternity, Salt Lake City Utah LDS Temple</image:title>
<image:caption>The Salt Lake LDS Temple was dedicated in April 1893. 1993 was the centennial and the lights were changed out to different colors. I was in the Visitors Center admiring the temple when I saw the reflection of the Christus statue, which was behind me, in the window superimposed on the temple. It was Christmastime so there were no leaves on the trees which made it possible to get this image. I found afterwards that the light between 2 spires formed a star. While they are strengthening the temple foundations, they have torn down the visitor center and moved the statue across the street making this image impossible to get. Also, the trees have grown a lot since the image was shot, obscuring the temple from this view.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I have always had special memories of the Logan, Utah Temple, Most images of the temple face West towards the Wellsville Range of mountains. I wanted a photo of the temple with the Bear River Range of mountains which would be facing to the East. I looked around town until I found a vantage point where, by setting up on top of my truck I was able to get what I waw looking for. The blossoms on the trees only tend to enhance this view.</image:caption>

<image:caption>We got up at 3am to drive for 2 hours to arrive at Oxbow bend for a morning shoot only to find that clouds covered the whole scene before us. As the sky began to lighten, we could see the Teton ahead of us and the beautiful color in the clouds. I sat and reflected on the day and my life. My thoughts were a bit unfocused, like the water before me Sometimes the reflections are crystal clear and mirror the mountain and sometimes a bit of wind will come up and disturb the water and reflections, like my thoughts of the day.</image:caption>
